Psalm 139:14 says I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Just as He said
As Easter approaches, I have been reflecting on Christ's resurrection. In Matthew 28:6 "The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid , for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where he lay."
I am so thankful that the Lord does not look at circumstances the way I do. I can see myself along with Mary Magdalene and the other Mary weeping at the tomb. I can feel their hopelessness and heaviness. Had they not understood that Christ had said he would rise from the dead? Did they not know? In my life, it too seems as though it takes a violent earthquake and an angel from the Lord to come down and tell me not to be afraid that Christ has already done what He said He would do.
I too, need to go and see the places in my life that lay dead to remember how Christ has resurrected my soul and remember in the moments that seem so full of pain that Christ will do just what He has said.
